Khatumo Development Research Center
is a local non-governmental organization (LNGO) based in Laas’anod the capital of Khatumo State of Somalia. KDRC was founded on 15 June 2024 and is governed by a Board of Directors (BoD) of five members.

KDRC aims to become a reliable baseline for policy analysis, research, and an actor in Somali peace, state-building, and development.
Our Mission
KDRC aspires to participate, as an actor and beneficiary, in the peace and reconstruction of Somalia; and to contribute to the creation of a democratic system of government, social and economic development, and respect of human rights for all.
